What is the Anatomy skill?
Anatomy is an open-source skill for Claude Code (and Codex, OpenCode, Antigravity) by @wheresryan22, released under the MIT license. Given a technical idea it builds an interactive isometric figure: a real machine made of many small shaded parts whose working explains the concept. anatomyskill.org is an independent hosted service that runs that skill for you; it is not affiliated with the author.
What do I get for one credit?
One figure: a 1080p MP4 of its idle tour (about 15 to 30 seconds), the standalone interactive HTML page in the theme you chose, a cover image and an embed snippet. Everything is yours to use commercially.
How long does a figure take?
About an hour. The skill writes a parts list, builds the geometry, checks it, fixes what the checks find and records the video. You get an email when it is ready, and the progress page shows each step.
What ideas work, and what does not?
Anything with a mechanism: algorithms, data structures, protocols, systems, physical processes. The skill draws machines, instruments, tools and furniture, not people, maps or marketing slogans. The brief step tells you at once if an idea has no mechanism to build, and it costs nothing.
Why would I pay when the skill is free?
You would not need to if you already run Claude Code and have an hour to spend per figure. The hosted service is for people who want the result without installing anything, keeping an agent session open, recording the video and checking the output themselves.
What if the figure is not good?
Every figure passes the skill’s own geometry and line checks before delivery; one that fails twice is not delivered and the credit comes back. If a delivered figure is not what you wanted, you can rebuild it once with the other machine at no charge.
Can I embed the interactive figure on my site?
Yes. The HTML page is self-contained (no external requests) and the embed snippet is an iframe with the figure hosted here. You can also download the HTML and host it yourself.
